| This is a beautiful book. The story is told very simply because for those of us who are, or have ever been, horse lovers, the first line, "I want a pony. I want a pony more than anything else in the world." is all it takes for our hearts to fill with emotion. There is a bond between horses and their people that comes out through the pictures in a way that most books cannot illustrate. This is a must have book for any horse lover in your house no matter the age (because in our hearts, we will always want a pony). |

| This is an adorable book about a little girl who wants a pony more than anything. Her dreams come true, if only in her imagination. A wonderful story for children and adults a like who love horses or have always wanted one. :o) I love the picture on the cover! |

| I recently read this story to my second grade class since we have several students who are wild about horses. Since the main character's pony is an imaginary one, the story needs to be "set up" prior to reading it. All of the students enjoyed the book however, since they could relate to wanting something so badly and being told by their parents, "not now." The book is simple, but beautifully written and illustrated. |
