Fallout 3 Game Ad-On Pack PC

fallout 3: game add-on Point Look Out and Broken Steel2010-05-055 / 5
Definitely worth my money. This add on pack expands from the main game's storyline, and adds more challenges. It is fun and I recommend this to all the Fallout 3 players.

Broken Steel doesn't really add much and is just more enclave mopping up, how boooring.
With a name like Broken Steel I was expecting maybe the west coast brotherhood to come and show the DC pansies what-ho, but no - more stupid, shallow, 1D enclave. Christ they were freaking beaten in the second game, can we be done with them already? Fallout has always been about choosing sides and shades of gray.

Point Lookout is better. Atmospheric, quirky and has an interesting scavenger hunt quest, but it is so, so short and TINY. I don't think it has more than 5 quests and just one of those is a proper quest line.

I'd buy these maybe in a bundle for a couple bucks, but NOT at this price. Whatever happened to proper expansions, are we doomed to small, effortless, unfulfilling, overpriced nuggets? What happened to the Broodwars?

Anyway you're best sticking to the user made content on falloutnexus or planetfallout (less anime, drama and pedos than the former).

If you enjoyed Fallout3, this is a must have. It opens a new story line following Project Purity. It opens up your level cap from 20 to 30! It adds new monsters to the wasteland, if you see more than one Albino, RUN!
A must have for any Fallout 3 players!2010-03-095 / 5
Fallout 3 itself is a incredible game, with so much to do and the graphics are truely jaw-dropping. If you liked Fallout 3, then you will definately like this expansion DLC pack! The two DLC's featured in here will make Fallout 3 last a LOT longer. Unlike the other DLC pack that features the Pitt and Operation Anchorage: This pack focuses on expanding the present Fallout 3 Capital wasteland as well as adding a new open-ended world to explore.

Broken Steel:

This DLC (Downloadable-Content) extends Fallout 3 so that once you finish the main story, you can keep playing instead of getting kicked out after the end. This allows you to freestyle in a way similar to Oblivion. Broken Steel adds much more depth to the story and it adds tons of new goodies and challenges that have not been implented in Fallout 3. In this DLC, you get to enter a new open-ended zone featuring Adams Air Force Base (Andrews Air Force Base in real life) that is home to the enclave communications HUB and has a lot to see! Broken steel is one of the best DLC addons for Fallout 3 In my opinion.

Point Lookout:

This DLC should be treated like a Expansion. Point Lookout is a Freestyle explore type of DLC not featured in any of the other DLC's. The setting is Point Lookout: Maryland on the coast where there is swamplands and new mutated creatures and "Swampfolk". When you first arrive to point lookout, the map of the place just amazed me to know that this DLC features a open-ended enviroment vs a limited and restricted area that has no explorational value. Point Lookout, while not as big as the capital wasteland: The area is big enough to make things interesting and a handful of quests are added that give the place a little more depth. The atmosphere of Point Lookout is very rural and low-populated, so you won't cross many friendly people in the lands. One of my favorites of this DLC is that you get a Double Barrel Shotgun (About time!) and it is really powerful but degrades easily. I would call this the second best DLC with Broken Steel being first.

For anyone who collects the Fallout series, or just plays Fallout 3: I recommend you buy this if you want Fallout 3 to be ENHANCED a lot more than the previous two DLC's. Thumbs up all the way!

The game was outstanding, challenging and huge in scope. Allowed the player to determine his or her on destiny. I would play it again. Only complaint is that it only let you go to level 20.
