Product Description
Pregnant moms who struggle to find a comfortable position will love the Leachco Back 'N Belly Contoured Body Pillow. Moms-to-be can sleep well and wake up without aches! The big, roughly U-shaped pillow has two contoured "legs" so you can sleep on your back or either side, tuck the end of the pillow between your knees, and elevate your head to ease heartburn.
The Back N Belly provides support for the back and belly at the same time. Simply reverse the ends of the body pillow for a "double decker" head support. It elevates and aligns the hips to help ensure a natural position, which relieves stress on joints. This Leachco body pillow helps relieve carpal tunnel, sciatica, gastric reflux, and nasal congestion.
The Back 'N Belly is made of cozy, warm polyester and comes with a custom cover case which can be removed for washing. It can be used in positions not shown in the illustrations: Mothers of different sizes, shapes, and sleep preferences can experiment, as many have, to find just the right configuration.

| Should have gotten one for my last pregnancy! | 2010-07-29 | 5 / 5 |

| This pillow is amazing. My only complaint is that I didn't know about it for my last pregnancy. Sleeping has been tough due to sciatic nerve pain on both sides. This pillow helps to relieve the pain while allowing me to get a decent night's sleep. During pregnancy my pelvis also separates, which is quite painful. I ended up sleeping in a chair from 4 months on during my last pregnancy because laying in bed was too painful. I am 18 weeks pregnant and while my pelvis is separating again, the pillow has made laying down much more comfortable. I'm hoping to not have to spend as much time sleeping in a chair with this pregnancy. On another note, both my mom and husband tried out my pillow and fell in love with it. They both want one for themselves! I told them "go for it!" |
| Comfort for Sciatic Nerve Pain | 2010-07-20 | 4 / 5 |
|
| I got this pillow for my first pregnancy because I was having trouble sleeping and had sciatic nerve pain at the end of the pregnancy. If you fold the 2 long sides together and use it to snuggle and prop your leg over, you will sleep amazing, and won't feel the sciatic nerve pain. That is why I gave this 4 stars. If you use it that way, it's a gem, if you use it as a "U" shape it's a bit uncomfortable. BUT regardless I couldn't live without it. I am prego with #2 and got the sciatic nerve pain much earlier and had to start using this right away. CAN'T live without it. |
| Should have a cover | 2010-07-13 | 4 / 5 |

| My wife loves sleeping with this pillow. It's been very helpful during her pregnancy. However, it doesn't stay white very easily, and there's no pillow cover. It has a removable "cover," but it's hard to remove & is still white. |
| Not so great if you have sensitive neck | 2010-07-01 | 3 / 5 |
|
| I've been having problems sleeping at night because of my growing belly and my husband bought this pillow for me thinking this will help with my back pains. I tried it for a week and ended up having neck pains along with all my other pains. If you are used to sleeping on a relatively flat pillow, this is not for you. The area where you put your head is raised too high making it difficult for people with sensitive necks (like myself). I tried to flip it upside down so that I can use my regular pillow, but the contours no long align with your back and stomach. After spending $70 on this pillow, I ended up tossing it aside and now it resides on top of my bedroom chair. If you are used to high pillows, then this may work for you. The contours do align nicely with the back and belly and it does help to lift your top leg so that it aligns with your hip. Also, if you are pregnant during the summer, think twice about this too - it gets hot! I now use just two regular pillows...one between my legs and one against my back. Not as convenient when you want to change sides, but it works (and it's way cheaper). |
| A great buy! | 2010-06-29 | 5 / 5 |

| This is my first time expecting and I was hesitant to buy this because of the price; I thought I'd try to make due. However after 3 weeks of a sore back I finally caved and bought it. I have not looked back. It is a great pillow! Yes- the cover is not perfect but I wake up in the morning and my back feels great! I just use a pillowcase for where I put my head. I used to sleep on my back and never thought I'd be comfortable on my side, but I am with this pillow. |
