A wonderful board book for any new born or infant.
| Wonderful book for even the littlest babies | 2010-05-17 | 5 / 5 |

| My seven-week-old son adores this book! We have other black and white books that we've propped up near his changing table but this is the one that fascinates him the most. He loves looking at all the names, and he giggles like crazy whenever we "read" it and get to the twist ending. He's fascinated by every page, and this never fails to settle him down when it catches his eye, which is a blessing for me as his mom, because he usually haaaates being changed. I wish there were more great infant books that were as attractive and thoughtful as this one! |

| I thought since babies like mostly black and white this book would be a hit. It is small, cheap looking and boring. Waste of money, don't buy! |

| I purchased this book for my Littlest's first Christmas. She was not even 8 weeks old and loved to look at the pictures for extended periods of time. I highly recommend this book for your Wee One's library, or as a gift for a newborn. Excellent for their development! |

In this delightful little book, the artist depicts eight baby animal faces--a panda cub, seal pup, bunny, zebra foal, kitten, puppy, calf and lamb.
Each is done in striking black and white, making it easy for a baby to see, and each image delights. The panda cub gives a bashful smile, the calf a gentle gaze, and the cat a cute smile. At the end, a young child is shown giggling happily as he reaches up to play with each of the eight baby animals shown in miniature and hanging down from strings.
I got this book along with Look, Look! by Peter Linenthal and Black & White by Tana Hoban. All of them are good, and the Hoban book has one feature that Baby Animals doesn't, but I consider this one to be the best. |

| Our baby is very entertained and loves the pictures. Wish we had gotten more black and white books for babies. |
